An imperial guardian lion, also known as a Ra shi da.
Partially inspired by the awe-inspiring game Shadows of the Colossus as well as the concept art from Guild Wars and my recent trip to Japan. So in-love with that architecture, yo.

Blue glowy things! Blue glowy things are great, especially against that stony colour.
Also, great detail, as usual.
And nice squiggly background thing!
Its facial expression is amusing too. It looks like it's going 'o.O Huh?' or something. But maybe that's just me looking at it wrong. Heh.

Anyways *ahem* This is so very fantastic. I love all the little intricate details (blue <33 mm) and the feetsies, ooooh the feetsies are so wonderful! *pokes the claws and bleeds to death*

Yay more of Zankara's critters! :D

Really like the details and all those blue lines, looks like he's gonna explode with all that energy inside. I like the pencils in this thing too, the shading in there looks really nice. Very interesting lion and funny expression, it's like he's saying "Omgs! Zankara is posting stuff again! o_O" Good stuff :w00t:

Holy friggin bejeeziz!! I remember when this was in pencil, but now? WOW!! And I thought I liked it then, I was wrong!! Wrong wrong wrong!! You really did a piece here! I'm totally blown away by this... this should be a top fav, honestly! The people whe made SoC should so hire you to come up with creatues, no lie. The umm.... left leg (it's perspective) seems a little off to me, i dunno why, it just does.. I'm prolly just stupid though ^^

If this guy WAS a SotC boss, he'd be so easy... i mean, look at all that blue-weakness stuff? Stabby stabby, he'd be dead in three hits. So sad :(

Bah, i bet the perspective is off. I kinda yoink that stuff like anatomy and lighting straight out of my ass, so that's no big shocker..
